Abstract:
In the current paper we study the process of evaluating the knowledge, skills and abilities of students, their achievements through a variety of traditional and innovative forms of assessment, considering their advantages and disadvantages. Particular attention is paid to the essence of the portfolio, as an alternative forms of assessment. We describe advantages of portfolio over traditional forms for assessment.
