Abstract:
The further in the past the forms of people’s habitation and their interaction with the environment date back, the more they, as a field of research, move away from the subject of geography and enter the sphere of archeology. The economic geography deals mainly with the modern reality but a great number of its concepts and approaches in the study of the settlement network have common ground with archeology.
Keywords:
settlement network, land, settlement model, settlement system, protocities, geoarchaeological prediction.
