Vasil Levski and the Icon Painters from Galichnik

Abstract:

The study draws attention to Vasil Levski’s relationships with some icon painters from the village of Galichnik. The author tries to restore Levski’s connections with and established networks in Macedonia. As a result of deciphering Levski’s notes, some names of his associates have been restored, such as Evgeni pop Kuzmanov, Georgi Pulev, Panayot Ginovski and others.
