Abstract:

The present article is the modest experience to be considered in its essence and followed in the development of the ritual wine drink in the Chinese. China is a country of rituals and rites. In the past drinking wine in China is also linked to the ritual “Li” (礼). Every important event of the daily, traditional life of the Chinese people, such as childbirth, wedding and burial is accompanied by a corresponding ritual, which abounds in libations with wine. Besides important public functions, wine – drinking, as a fundamentally social phenomenon has an integrating role in the realization and combines various types of arts and intellectual entertainment.
