Abstract:

The current publication presents the initiatives and results of Veliko Tarnovo public’s activities as well as these of the local authority from the Liberation till present days for preserving the memory of the poet and public figure Petko Rachеv Slaveykov, who was born in the old capital – his home to become a house-museum, building of monuments and signs of memory, naming of objects after him, etc.
