Abstract:

The article is dedicated to Anna-Neda (Empress/“Tzaritza” of Bulgaria from 1323 to 1324 and 1330 to 1331) wife of tzar Michael III Shishman Asen. Her parents are the King of Serbia Stefan Milutin and the Hungarian princess Elizabeth Arpad. The king was married five times and the Hungarian princess was former nun… These scandalous circumstances for its time influenced on Anna-Neda’s character. She was overthrowned and banished from the country because of her despotic rule.
