Abstract:
The article discusses one of the currently published documents from the
Istanbul archives about the activities of Vasil Levski and his companion. During the
autumn of 1872, the Turkish Police found 30 guns, revolvers, gunpowder, etc. in the
house of Stanyo Vrabevski – an honoured citizen of Teteven. 25 of the modern guns
were probably produced in the USA and bought from Stanyo in Romania. This document
confirms the revolutionaries for uprising and the role of Vrabevski who was
chairman of the Committee in Teteven.
