Abstract:

The article presents retrospective perspectives on the university geography in Russia – the creation of faculties and departments of geography. The parallel comparative perspectives between the university geography between Russia and Bulgaria are tracked – establishment of departments, introduction of geographical courses, university lecturers. The specific features of modern university geography in Russia are also presented.
