Abstract:

The article examines the different concepts of the language, time, and place of writing of Cyril's Life. These questions are traditional for Slavic studies from the very beginning in 1823 until today. There are many and often contradictory opinions in Slavic science. A review of these views leads us to think that there is a variance of equal concepts, each of which can be a scientific truth.
