Abstract:
The aim of this study is analyze the results of an implemented comprehensive orienteering training and preparation program, a variation analysis was performed when conducting the Star Test for measuring azimuth and distance of the terrain and the Memorization Test with students from the Technical University – Sofia, branch Plovdiv, participating in a sports improvement course in orienteering. The field tests used are modified from the standard tests of V. Vladimirov (2008) with a completely original methodology for measuring and reporting their results.
