Abstract:

This study examines parents’ attitudes toward mini-basketball activities in kindergartens as a form of organized physical activity in early childhood. Physical education in preschool plays a crucial role in children’s motor, social, and emotional development. The study aims to identify parents’ perceptions of the benefits of mini basketball, their level of satisfaction with the organization of activities, and their expectations for future development. Data was collected through a survey of parents of preschool-aged children. The results show a predominantly positive attitude of parents toward both mini-basketball and sport in general. Parents support their children in their desire and choice of sport, and children like mini-basketball activities mainly because of the games, working with the ball, and the opportunity to be with their friends.
