Abstract:
This study evaluates the impact of a six week dry land speed endurance program on the performance of 13–14-year-old swimmers. Twenty athletes were assigned to experimental and control groups, and assessed through 200m freestyle, 4 × 50m freestyle, and standing long jump. While groups did not differ at baseline, the experimental group showed statistically significant post intervention improvements across all measures (p > 0.95). The results indicate that the applied dry land physical training effectively enhances swim specific endurance and explosive strength in adolescent swimmers.
