Abstract:
Coercive crimes account for a significant share of total crime. Therefore, this issue has been the object of increased scientific interest, both in the field of criminological knowledge and in criminal law. At the same time, in the current Bulgarian criminal legislation, there is no legal definition of the concept of mental coercion, although a large number of constituent acts are carried out either through mental coercion, which is the only form of the executive act, or through various forms of motivational mental impact, including mental coercion as well. Thus, it is necessary to clarify this concept doctrinally, and the current paper is dedicated to this issue.
