Abstract:
The article examines the domestic legislation on some of the fundamental rights of unaccompanied minors in the Republic of Bulgaria. It is mainly devoted to their right to special representation, which can be of many different types – each with its own peculiarities and problems. It also deals with the possibility of their residence in the territory of the country, with their placement in appropriate places where they can receive adequate care, with the possibility of reunification with their families, and with their right to education.
