Abstract:
Given the dynamics of the election process in the Republic of Bulgaria and the revolutionary development of information technology, electoral legislation has undergone a considerable number of changes, and some reforms are soon to take place, so it can rise to the current issues in society. With the development of contemporary technologies, such as social networks and websites, new horizons to hold election campaign have been discovered. This report reviews the legal issues on the restriction of access to information in relation to the equal voting right and to who is authorized to execute it.
