Abstract:

The transmission of the right to accept or waive an inheritance introduces special rules, regarding the passing of the unexercised right to accept or waive an inheritance. However, insufficient detail in the rules creates difficulties in applying the provisions, regarding the heirs‘ rights to accept or waive the inheritance of his direct ancestor (transmitter) and to accept or refuse the inheritance of the transmitter‘s ancestor.
