Резюме:

The continuous development of technology and its implementation in healthcare and medical services requires that trainees acquire skills to work with hospital software for clinical practice purposes. The objective of this study is to define the need for training in clinical practice among midwifery students. Results: In recent years, reforms in the healthcare sector have transitioned towards e-health across all medical domains. The introduction of electronic medical records, electronic consultations, referrals, and prescriptions necessitates well-prepared specialists whose skills need to be developed during their medical education. The provision of midwifery care demands the timely digitization of data (such as electronic birth registries, admissions, and vaccination records), which complicates the workflow due to a lack of skills among practitioners. It is essential for midwifery students to be trained promptly in the specifics of electronic hospital systems, according to the guidelines of the National Health Insurance Fund and the National Health Information System. Conclusion: The rapid changes in the healthcare sector require the timely preparation of new specialists with technical skills for working with databases, in accordance with regulatory guidelines for various organizational structures. The role of clinical practice mentors is not only to equip future midwives with skills but also to prepare them to be flexible in organizing patient care activities and handling electronic data.
