Abstract:
The main topic of this article are the colloquial coordinating conjunctions ta and pa in Dimitar Talev’s tetralogy (The Iron Candlestick, The Bells of Prespa, Ilinden and I Hear Your Voices). The aim of the study is to describe and analyze the semantic and syntactic roles of the conjunctions ta and pa (defined as colloquial in syntax) in the above-mentioned literary works, as well as to consider the rivalry between them.
