Colloquial speech in the digital environment

Abstract:

The emergence and improvement of new digital technologies has given an impetus to the development of interactive dialog of Internet users, which in turn has given rise to the phenomenon of new orality and awakened the creative potential of the category of colloquiality. A new (media) version of language is being formed in the Internet space, realizing the “new orality” of the Internet era. The new linguistic phenomena are not just isolated or accidental, but are systemic, as they manifest themselves at every linguistic level. This allows us to draw conclusions about the inevitability of the future transformation of the Russian literary language and its historically established norms, since the language will have to ensure communication of the digital society.
