Abstract:

The surnames of the inhabitants of Luhansk region as text-forming units, many of which characterize the linguistic features of Lugansk inhabitant’s personality were analyzed in the article. Sociolinguistic portrait of the modern inhabitants of the region was made on the basis of a questionnaire, the answers to which represent the participants of communication.
