Abstract:
This article discusses features of oral communication in the work of L. Tolstoy. On the example of the episodes from the works of “Youth” and “War and Peace,” the author shows that oral communication is recorded in a literary text through dialogue, nominations with semas ‘feel’, ‘gesture’, ‘mood talking’, ‘locale’, keywords as well as words that are in an environment dedicated to have a special meaning, and go back to the opposition of “own – alien”, “understanding – misunderstanding.” In the process of oral communication the space of the house is built particularly, the characters and their relationships within the family are particularly characterized.
