Abstract:
Some current issues that appear in teaching Romanian as a foreign language for Bulgarian students are discussed in this paper. Particular attention is devoted to teaching Romanian for beginners – levels A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). Contemporary coursebooks for Romanian as a foreign language are presented and their advantages and disadvantages for Bulgarian students are analyzed. The most common problems faced by Bulgarians in learning Romanian language are also discussed.
