Abstract:

The aim of this study is reveal the return to the fantastic code that Goran Tribuson makes in his novel Sanatorij. The text traces the author’s creative path and the changes that occur in his works. The focus is on the use of the fantastic letter intertwined with motifs and techniques characteristic of the postmodern aesthetics. In addition, the specific presentation of the problematic identity of the individual surviving the horror of war is highlighted.
