Abstract:
The interest in grammatical gender is mostly provoked from the point of view of its relation to sex. In a pragmatic aspect, this relation describes it not as a conservative category, but rather as a dynamic and evolving one, with a variety of meanings that adds to its semantic core. The understanding of the concept of gender as a biological sign and as a set of behavioral norms and roles that one acquires in the process of socialization determines the extraordinary interest in the study of concepts as gender-sex. This attitude is primarily observed in the common nouns for human beings, as well as proper nouns, which, in their relationship with the other parts of speech, define the grammatical category mostly dependent on extra-linguistic factors. Realizations in the naming of men and women with parts of speech for the opposite sex / gender or the neuter are observed.
