The Dual Sanctuaries Dedicated to Sari Saltik on the Balkans and the Code of Confessional Co-existence

Abstract:

In the resent research is made an attempt to reveal the reasons for the appearance of the dual sanctuaries (esteemed by Christians and Moslems) dedicated to the famous Turk mystic Sarý Saltýk, on the Balkans. In this context are discussed the specific changes of the cult of Sarý Saltýk, exclusively complicated as an appearance and spreading in the narrative literature, and an object of different interpretations in the modern historiography. The represented surveillance’s show that the cult centers, related to Sarý Saltýk, have become a center of the religious life for the both confessions and by the time follows they impose dual code of the co-existence between Christians and Moslems.
