Abstract:
Despite the specifics of the political-geographical issues in the East European region, a unifying element can be found in them. They are driven by the desire to promote identity – ethnical, cultural, national. This is a fact that largely underlies the conflict potential, generated within this space. The presentation of its essence will not be complete enough, without analyzing the projection of the Albanian national identity on the contemporary political map of the Balkans.
Keywords:
Serbia, Кosovo, Macedonia, „Greater Albania“, Albanian nationalism, national identity, iconographic images, territory, demographic situation, destabilization
