Abstract:

Morphographically the catchment area of the Senkovets River falls within the boundaries of the Eastern Yuzhnomiziyska (Danubean) hilly plateau plane. In hydrographic terms, the river valley network Senkovets is attached to the Black Sea drainage basin with the transit valley of the Danube. The flow of the Senkovets River into the Danube is 14 m above sea level. In general, the main topographic surface watersheds and the river valley are slightly tilted to the north and northeast. In the southern parts of the region, within the Ludogorsko plateau, it rises to approximately 340 – 350 m, to reach the spring in parts of the river stream in the Senkovets Samuilovsko elevations to 498 m altitude.
