Abstract:
The author of this paper points to the development and values of the modern Serbian poetry and prose of writers in Eastern and Southern Serbia, about the influence and mixing of cultures, languages, tradition, themes and ideas. Main attention is focused on the writer and scientist Ljubiša Mitrović and his cosmic poetry characterized by many peculiarities, on Miroslav Todorović, a poet with thoughtful orientation and a broad view of the worlds out of which germs of new ideas arise, on the poetry of the mathematician and philosopher Stojan Bogdanović and the folklorist, lexicologist and great thinker Momčilo Zlatanović. In their books, they talk in specific ways about human being in his duration and striving for cosmic light. Some of them, having been translated in Bulgarian language, have become spiritual property of the recipients of literary word in Bulgaria.
