Abstract:
This study examines narrative models developed in Bulgarian artistic prose in the 19th century. Three basic models are defined – hagiographic, sentimental and folklore. It is justified a thesis that these three models do not exist in pure form but they intertwine their aesthetic and communicative characteristics.
