Abstract:

The article presents Turkish and Greek loanwords in the kinship terminology of South Slavic dialects. In comparative terms, with an emphasis on Bulgarian dialects, unpublished lexical material from Volume 11 (Degrees of Kinship) of the All-Slavic Linguistic Atlas is analyzed, on which the Bulgarian National Commission for the Atlas is working. In addition to the origin of the words, their meanings are indicated, as well as their linguistic and geographical distribution in the Balkans.
