The yearbook “DEVELOPMENT OF THE BULGARIAN AND EUROPEAN ECONOMY - CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES” is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic publication of a scientific and scientific-educational nature of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Cyril and Methodius”, which has been published since 2018. Its purpose is to contribute to scientific development in the field of social and economic sciences, as well as to create an environment for intensive scientific exchange and discussions on a wide range of problems related to the development of the Bulgarian and European economy, management, social activities and tourism.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE BULGARIAN AND EUROPEAN ECONOMY - CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES is published in one issue per year. The publication publishes results of scientific and applied research.

The yearbook is open to authors (Bulgarian and foreign) external to the University, whose materials correspond to the thematic focus and the adopted requirements for publication. In order to ensure access to a wider range of authors and readers among the international scientific community, it is allowed for the published materials to be in Bulgarian, English or Russian.

The editorial board of the publication includes Bulgarian and foreign scientists with proven international authority. All submitted materials, after successfully passing a plagiarism check in the StrikePlagiarism.com system, are directed to double anonymous review.

No publication fees are required for VTU lecturers and doctoral students.
