The main goal of the yearbook “Development of the Bulgarian and European Economy - Challenges and Opportunities“ is to contribute to scientific development in the field of social and economic sciences, while at the same time being a pillar of compliance with generally accepted and, in our opinion, mandatory ethical rules and criteria for science. In this regard, the Editorial Board has committed itself to a clear policy of adherence to established ethical principles and norms relating to the authors, reviewers, editor-in-chief and editorial board, publisher involved in the publication of the yearbook “Development of the Bulgarian and European Economy - Challenges and Opportunities“.
The main ethical principles, the observance of which is mandatory for all parties involved in the process of publishing and publishing the yearbook, are the following:
Correctness and integrity in relation to data, results, methods, procedures and rules for publication;
Unprejudice and objectivity in the analysis and interpretation of research data;
Inadmissibility of any kind of falsification of data, including by manipulating them to obtain desired results or by providing fictional and untrue results;
Responsibility for publishing materials that contribute to the progress of science and education, and not only to accumulating "hollow" publications by the authors and the development of their own careers;
Complete refusal to show personal attitude or bias towards people, scientific theses, ideas and data;
Respect for intellectual property, compliance with copyright and intolerance to plagiarism in all its forms (including through the use of ideas, results, etc. similar, which belong to authors whose authorship is not indicated);
Non-interference of financial or other interests;
Confidentiality with regard to personal, company and other data and information, legally falling under a protection regime;
The presence of a conflict of interest in the performance of duties, leading to non-objectivity, malice or bias due to incompatibility of personal and professional interests, is not tolerated;
The publication of materials that are incompatible with the requirements for scientificity, impartiality and compliance with language norms is not allowed;
Duplication of publications in different journals, editions or forums by the authors is not tolerated and accordingly such duplicate publications will not be accepted in the yearbook “Development of the Bulgarian and European Economy - Challenges and Opportunities”.
The ethical rules have been adopted by the Editorial Board of the yearbook “Development of the Bulgarian and European Economy - Challenges and Opportunities”. They are constantly valid norms and their observance is mandatory by all parties in the process of publishing and issuing the yearbook.
