Abstract:

The development of each subspecies of alternative tourism is associated with time for its „evolution“ to an independent branch with its own characteristics, resources and established destinations. In this sense, culinary tourism is the same. To what extent is it still an additional service to another type of tourism or a separate sub-sector to alternative tourism? What is the situation on the Bulgarian tourist market? These are the main problematic issues in this article.

Keywords:

culinary tourism, perspective, structure, alternative.
