Abstract:

The leadership of the human factor is among the key and current areas of human resource management, both scientifically and practically. The scientific literature related to leadership contains a wide variety of theoretical concepts, formulations, policies, approaches, and mechanisms that have a practical focus. The purpose of this article is to highlight the main prerequisites for ensuring leadership of the human factor and expertise for the development and validation of managers – leaders in organizations, that reveal problem areas in the leadership potential of managers, also causes and factors that determine them. Carrying out the expertise highlighted in the article can be a strategic task for the management of organizations in order to increase their competitiveness and generate organizational growth.
