Abstract:
The invasion of Covid-19 into human life in the last two years has put modern societies to the test. They face serious challenges to the health and safety of their citizens. Overcoming them necessitated the search for solutions to the crisis. The restrictive measures taken have raised a number of issues related to respect for human rights, on the one hand, and the need to protect their lives and health in a pandemic. The report addresses current issues in the provision of social services for the elderly, focusing on finding a balance between protecting the health and lives of older users and respecting their rights in the care facilities in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
