Abstract:
The Green Strategy encompasses several sectors including climate, industry, agriculture, transport, innovation, environment, finance, and others. One of the key areas of the strategy is undoubtedly agriculture, playing a crucial role not only in the EU‘s food security but also in environmental conservation and rural areas. When it comes to Bulgaria, the agricultural sector is of paramount importance for the country‘s economic development and social stability. Only a portion of the challenges facing agriculture in our country are climate change and the limitation of natural resources. The set goals, however, may turn out to be detrimental to Bulgarian agriculture and lead many to bankruptcy. The balance between the capabilities of agricultural producers, adequate financing, and the implementation of measures for environmental conservation is crucial for the Strategy to function properly.
