Abstract:

In the context of evolving societal challenges, it is necessary to introduce innovations in social services in order to increase quality and access to specialized help and support. This makes the topic of the readiness and skills of social service specialists with regard to their participation in the innovation process particularly relevant and significant. In the course of the conducted study, the basic concepts and stages of the innovation process in social services are examined, focusing on the innovation skills of specialists involved and the challenges and opportunities in connection with the implementation of innovative solutions in social work. The report seeks to answer the main research question: What skills are needed to apply innovative practices to improve the quality and access to social services, and what factors promote or limit this process?
