Abstract:

Social innovations play a key role in the strategic priorities, policies and documents of the European Union. The development of social innovations in Bulgaria requires an appropriate ecosystem and the creation of conditions for interaction between stakeholders and the provision of the necessary prerequisites for the establishment of a National Competence Center for Social Innovations, which would support the development of the social economy and social innovations in Bulgaria. The report examines and analyzes the results of the Si Plus and Fuse projects and the possible benefits of establishing a Center for Social Innovations in Bulgaria.
