Abstract:

This report examines trends and perspectives in social work in Bulgaria related to the issue of domestic violence. Key methods in social work include integrated service models, expansion of crisis centers, trauma-informed approaches, and digitalization of support services. Limited funding, social stigma, and problems with interinstitutional coordination are identified as essential challenges. The need for continued investment in social work capacity, legal protection, and public education is emphasized.
