Abstract:

The Tarnovo’s church liturgy St. Petka Epivatska, published by Stefan Kozuharov establishes recovering church liturgy for the transmission of the reliks of St. Petka Epivatska in Tarnovo on july 26, 1231. On this date was celebrated the memory of the Paraskeva’s Roman woman but the “coincidence” was chosen because of the possibility that this day could be the conditional “birth” of St. Dimitar of Thessaloniki – nine months after his conception on October 26, the day of his martyrdom death.
