Abstract:

Analytical review of the development Kazakhstan proper names is given in the article. At present Kazakhstan onomastics disposes rich and actual material of proper names of different categories, theoretical and methodological arsenal, founded on achievements of the general linguistics and proper names science, which can promote further study as people’s names and place names as well and peripheral category of onyms.
