Anthroponymic traditions of the Bulgarian diaspora in Ukraine (three-stem family-lineal bynames)

Abstract:

On the basis of plentiful anthroponymic material from nine Bulgarian settlements in the Priasovie area and a detailed analysis of the derivation of three-stem family-lineal bynames we reach the conclusion that the old Bulgarian patterns of naming have been well preserved in the diaspora.
