Slangonyms as a substandard component in the sphere of proper names

Abstract:

Among colloquial onyms a special place belongs to denominations with highly expressive qualities which were derived by means of methods typical of slang word formation. The term slangonym is offered for those appellatives. Types of slangonyms are discussed and an attempt at their lexicographic description has been made.
