INTRAURBAN SLAVONIC NAMES AS THE WAY TO OBJECTIFY THE ANTHROPOMORPHOUS CULTURAL CODE

Abstract:

The use of the lingvocultural method in linguistics gives the opportunity to study the people’ views on the reality around us in the form of cultural codes one of the representatives of which is a proper name of an internal urban object. The given article is devoted to the problem of the comparative analysis of the study of Slavonic countries’ urbanonimic texts. The analysis of the emperical material helped to define that anthropomorphous cultural code is objected in the urbanonimy of the examined regions with the help of the names of intraurban objects based on the personal names. The investigated urban toponyms are referred to the areas with associated historical cultural traditions, but urbanonym system of every region has its own national peculiarity.
