Abstract:

The article present some Bulgarian toponyms collected from Arabic manuscripts preserved at Sts Cyril and Methodius National Library in Sofia. The toponyms are written in colophons and inscriptions of diffe-rent types in Arabic script as Ottoman Turkish, Persian and Arabic Alphabets. The aim is to show and analyze the collected toponyms and some of their paleographical particularities.
