Abstract:
The report is placed in the plan of modern psycho-Onomastics. It is dealing with some topographical phrases in which the subordinate word is a relative adjective describing a spatial location “upper” and derivatives; respectively “lower” and derivatives. It defends the view on the stereotypical ontology of naming, as most of the names of the villages and localities do not mark real distance in the space above (for “upper”) or below (for “lower”).
