Proglas is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Modern Languages at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. Established in 1992, the journal comes out twice a year: Issue 1 in June and Issue 2 in December. All manuscripts submitted for publication are screened for plagiarism and submitted to a double-blind peer-review process, strictly adhering to the norms of publication ethics. The editorial board of the journal consists of foreign and Bulgarian scholars whose international citability has been amply demonstrated.
Objectives and Scope of the Journal
The journal publishes original research in the fields of linguistics, literary studies, and cultural studies, as well as in the theory and practice of education within these academic domains.
The Reviews and Academic Chronicles sections accept reviews of significant scholarly works on linguistic, literary, and cultural issues, as well as information about academic events related to these fields of knowledge. The journal accepts manuscripts in Bulgarian, Russian, and English via email (proglas@live.uni-vt.bg) and through its electronic platform.
The journal is open access.
Authors are not required to pay any publication fees.
