Application of Electronic Textbooks in the Educational Process at Primary School from the Perspective of Teachers with Short Professional Experience

Abstract:

E-textbooks are an educational resource that has gained increasing importance in the last two years due to changed educational realities in Bulgaria and around the world. The new conditions significantly changed the educational process with the introduction of distance learning in an online environment. This paper presents the results of an empirical study on the applicability of e-textbooks to the learning process at the primary school stage. The opinion of a sample of respondents has been analyzed, whose professional experience as teachers ranged between 0 and 5 years. The study shows that the majority of surveyed teachers with short professional experience manage to adapt to the new educational challenges and to combine traditional learning methods with online educational resources in teaching primary school students.
