Abstract:

Nowadays we are witnessing a great need to rethink the applied educational methods in our system. This text examines the opportunities that alternative humanistic educational pedagogies and approaches bring with them and their role in the formation of full-fledged, adaptive, creative and critically thinking personalities 33 in today's dynamic world. The author explores the importance of pedagogical approaches that meet the individual needs of students and examines the differences in the traditional education system for its inability to prepare students for the challenges of the future. Various pedagogical approaches are considered, such as Waldorf pedagogy, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Suggestopedia, Illuminated pedagogy and others, emphasizing their uniqueness and advantages in creating an educational environment that stimulates personal holistic development.
