Abstract:
The report reveals the essence and characteristic features of active learning through experiential-researchactivity in technology and entrepreneurship education at the primary school level. The main stages in experimental-research work, which is based on the independent activity of the students, are considered. Following a certain research sequence, children create hypotheses, boldly experiment, reach desired result and draw conclusions. Exercises and activities that contribute to the development of research skills in adolescents are indicated. It describes the division of experimental-research activity into three large groups: testing, illustrative work, experience and research work. Elements of the current textbooks of two publishing houses on the subject of technology and entrepreneurship are analyzed: „Life and Technology“ and „Prosveta-Sofia“. Content-the analysis of the learning content is in relation to topics and lessons in which there is an experiential-research activity of the students of the 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade. It is emphasized that learning through discovery is one of the most efficient methods not only for acquiring and memorizing information, but also for enriching students‘ knowledge and skills.
